Description of the project
The study was performed under the Framework Contract (FC) for the provision of economic studies in support of SME policy development and implementation. The aim of the study was to update and complete the MICREF database, check for consistency between the policy measures in the database, and develop a set of meaningful criteria for identifying best-practices.
MICREF is organised around three "broad policy domains":
- open and competitive markets;
- business environment and entrepreneurship; and
- knowledge-based economy.
In the study, RegioPartner focused on 20 microeconomic reform measures of 2004-2009 in the policy domain “business environment and entrepreneurship”.
